I’m working on amassing my varied and unedited thoughts and ideas on design into some sort of coherent thinking in preparation for thesis and beyond. In doing so, I’ve come across some designers that I think are doing some pretty interesting stuff. I don’t know what they all mean, but it’s cool to see what’s going on out there – and, as we all know, there’s a lot going on:
Quentin Delobel
He did a particularly interesting diagram on Josef Muller-Brockmann which as you can see, inspired my taxonomy of gauges – who doesn’t love a big circle?

Abi Huhn
I really dig this guy’s stuff. well, except maybe the flyer done in comic sans. no…i like that too.

i’m trying to be better about taking my camera around, and taking shots when I see something of interest. I’m particularly fascinated by the handmade object. Design/typography as necessity.
